The king’s name and title on a floriated field, ‘al-sulṭān ibn al-sulṭān Fatḥ ʿAlī Shāh Qājār’ (‘Sultan, son of Sultan, Fath ʿAli Shah Qajar’ in Arabic/Persian). Rev. Within a central circle surrounded by floral designs and a dotted circle, ‘zarb-e dār al-salṭana Iṣfahān, 1232’ (‘Struck in the Abode of the Sultanate Isfahan, 1232’ in Persian). Album 2865. A beautiful and fresh piece. Minor areas of weakness and with light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
